Bridal Portraits - Recapturing a Wedding Tradition

Remember when wedding receptions consisted of dinner mints and finger sandwiches only to be replaced by lavish dinners and expensive venues?  Well, it would seem that traditional wedding photos, especially bridal portraits, have gone the way of the sad dinner mint and been replaced by photojournalistic, artistic, documentary wedding photography. So today I've got a throw back to weddings of yesteryear....a beautiful, timeless Bridal Portrait session.

A perfect keepsake for the bride's parents, an intimate bridal session is great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera, try out a wedding hair-do, and just enjoy a day in a beautiful dress without the rush and stress of the BIG DAY!  Jennifer was captured in all her beautiful bridal glory in downtown Statesville, NC by Amber S. Wallace Photography. I don't receive many bridal portrait submissions but this was just too stylish and fun to pass up!

What a gorgeous bride Jennifer will be! Her dress is stunning and her smile is pure and sweet... I can't wait to see the wedding photos. I just adore this entire Bridal Portrait Session by Amber S. Wallace Photography.

What do you think of Jennifer's dress? I am dying for that lace! Which is your favorite background? Leave us a comment below and then pop over to FACEBOOK to say hi!

Have a happy weekend,
